G&S operates its own state-of-the-art, dual chamber scrap metal recovery oven that is in full compliance with USEPA regulations for the disposal of drained PCB-contaminated electrical equipment. Our oven is operated with an afterburner operating temperature of more than 2200°F. To further protect our environment, our oven is equipped with a special high-termperature baghouse filtration system and a continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS). The CEMS continuously monitors carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and oxygen from stack gases, along with critical temperatures and pressures throughout the system.
